Among the Type VIIC, the most well-known unit was U-96, featured in the 1981 movie Das Boot.
This type of submarine was the most produced by Nazi Germany during World War 2 with 568 units commissioned, forming the workhorse of the U-boat forces. The German submarine U-69 was the first Type VIIC U-boat of the Kriegsmarine.
As such, I will start this small series of stats review with the submarine U-69. Since I’m still waiting for confirmation on the background story of the Tier IV German aircraft carrier Rhein, I thought that I might as well stick to German ships. For example, there is the battery recharge rate that doesn’t have an actual unit of measure so I’m guesstimating what it could be. Also, there are a few things that I have to interpret on my own so I might be off. but we shall see.Īs you might guess, these stats are heavy work in progress, anything might change and some parts definitely will change until they reach the live servers but still, we can at least get a fairly good idea of what to expect. So… considering the fact that submarines might soon be joining the game with their special game mode, I thought that I might as well have a closer look at the tier VI submarines that received updated stats and not just placeholders.
